General Notes: Husband - Robert Philips
In 1844 he came to Butler County, Pennsylvania, and settled on a farm of 130 acres in Penn township. He was an influential Republican in his township, and both he and wife were members of the Baptist church.
He and his wife were the parents of six sons and eight daughters, seven of whom were living in 1895.
