General Notes: Husband - Jason Phelps

He brought his wife and two children, and drove a yoke of oxen and a horse from Connecticut to Erie County, Pennsylvania, in 1815. He reared three children, two still living in 1884.

He came to Erie County, Pennsylvania, from Massachusetts in 1815, locating a farm above Waterford, which he cleared and cultivated until his death.
