General Notes: Husband - John Snyder
He grew to man's estate on his father's farm in Fayette County, Pennsylvania, and followed farming and dairying as occupations. In 1899 he came to Washington County and purchased from the Lemont estate a farm of eighty-five acres. He then lived in Carroll Township, and was recognized as one of the substantial farmers of the township. He was politically identified with the Democratic party, and held membership in the Presbyterian Church.
