General Notes: Husband - William Mitchell
He emigrated from Ireland to the United States during the latter part of the eighteenth century. Coming with the early settlers to the Kishacoquillas valley, Pennsylvania, he bought a tract of 400 acres which he at once began to clear and cultivate.
He and his wife both lived to an advanced age.
