General Notes: Husband - Robert Wallace

---

In 1847 he took possession of his part of the paternal homestead near Edenburg, Lawrence County, Pennsylvania, where he resided till his death. He was a farmer, and when a young man accidentally received an injury to one of his knees which necessitated amputation of the leg, and for nearly forty years he worked on his farm stumping around on a wooden peg.
