General Notes: Husband - Isaac Bowers

After marriage they lived on a farm near Martinsburg, Pennsylvania, until the year 1865 or 1866, when they moved to Roaring Spring. They bought part of the Spang farm and Mr. Bowers became a partner in the new paper mill, then being erected at that place, in which business he continued until the time of his death. He and his wife were devout members of the River Brethren Church.

He was struck by a passing train on a railroad near Galesburg, Illinois, and instantly killed.
