General Notes: Husband - Lewis Richardson Peck
Until 1875, he followed farming, and came to own a fine farm of 100 acres in McKean, on the Franklin Township line, Erie County, Pennsylvania. In 1875, he came to Middleboro and embarked in mercantile pursuits, purchasing the building, stock and trade of Albert Lansor. He had a well-stocked store of general merchandise. Mr. Peck was for a number of years School Director of the township; he was also Treasurer one term. In Middleboro he was Town Councilor six years. He was also School Director of the borough. Politically, Mr. Peck was Republican.
