General Notes: Husband - John Bare

He lived on a farm in Cumberland County, Pennsylvania. In the eighteen-forties, or sometime after that, he moved to near Springfield, Ohio, and bought a farm 1½ miles north of New Carlisle, Ohio, on which he lived until his death. He was a powerful man, and weighed about 300 pounds.
