General Notes: Husband - Maj. James Armstrong Wilson
He was a major in the Revolutionary war. A graduate of the Princeton College, he was admitted to the bar at Easton, Pennsylvania, where he afterward practiced. He was a large land owner and farmer of Cumberland County, where he was born.
He was educated at Princeton, and read law with Richard Stockton. He was admitted to the Bar of Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, on motion of James Wilson, in 1774, and died at the early age of thirty-six years, a victim of mob violence.
