General Notes: Husband - James Patterson

---

A farmer by occupation, in 1822, with his wife and nine children, he emigrated to America from County Armagh, Ireland, and soon after his arrival settled in Beaver (later Lawrence) County, Pennsylvania, where he purchased 200 acres of land. He was twice married and had four children by his first wife, and five children by his second wife. He died at the age of eighty-five years.
