General Notes: Husband - George A. Miller

---

He learned the carriage-maker's trade, and returning to Ohio in 1861, he embarked in the oil business, in which he continued for two years. During four years he was engaged in the grocery business in Greenville, Mercer County, Pennsylvania, later was in the meat business in the same town, afterward resided in Franklin, Pennsylvania. Coming to Sharpsville in 1874, he engaged in the meat business there. He served the city as a member of its school board, was also an active member of its borough council for five years, and was a Democrat in his political affiliations and a member of the Presbyterian Church.
He and his wife had four children.
