General Notes: Husband - Daniel Stoyer

He and his wife were both of German descent. They were married about 1818, and settled in Berks County, PA, on a small farm, where he followed the occupation of a shoemaker. They moved to Delaware Township, Mercer County, in 1833, and settled on a farm, where he continued his trade, and his sons conducted the work on the farm. He remained on the farm and in that vicinity for many years, when he sold it and spent the remainder of his days with his children.
He and his wife had nine children; four were still living in 1888.
