General Notes: Husband - Christian Miller
He learned his father's trade of blacksmith and followed it while in France. Leaving Alsace on March 24, 1854, he arrived at Buffalo May 12th, and was soon established on a farm in Erie County, NY, near the village of Boston, where he purchased 113 acres of land and followed agriculture the rest of his active life, reaching the good old age of eighty-seven years, three months. He is buried at Boston, where several other members of the family are interred. [CAB, 556]
