General Notes: Husband - Samuel Quinby
He served through the Revolutionary War, and came out with the rank of captain. He was reared on a farm, and after the close of the Revolution he married and settled on the Monongahela River, near Pittsburgh, PA. He subsequently removed to the site of Warren, OH, and in 1808 or 1809 located on the site of Sharon, PA, where he purchased a farm and grist-mill from Benjamin Bentley. He there died in the faith of the Baptist Church, and was buried with military honors on the anniversary of Perry's victory. [HMC 1888, 750]
