General Notes: Husband - Peter Sampsell


His father was a drummer in the War of 1812, and was killed while in the service.

He was a tanner, and lived to the age of eighty-eight years.


General Notes: Wife - [Unk] Miller


After her husband's death she removed to Oil City, PA, having happily found that her son, Henry H. Sampsell, whose whereabouts were unknown to the family for a long time, had settled there, and there she spent her remaining days. In religion she was a Roman Catholic.
