General Notes: Husband - Robert Meek


He emigrated to America from Edinburgh, Scotland, before the Revolutionary war. He owned property in Cumberland County [Pennsylvania?] in 1761. He had six sons who served in the Revolutionary War in Maryland, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey regiments, three of whom perished in the service.
