General Notes: Husband - Henry Ball


Civil War: he enlisted in 1864 in Co. A, 2nd Heavy Artillery, and was discharged with his regiment January 1, 1866.

He enlisted at the age of 18 with the 2nd Heavy Artillery, but was afterwards transferred to Co. A., 12th Provisional Infantry. He was in a number of important battles and was wounded in the Battle of the Wilderness. His death resulted from disease contracted while in the army.
