General Notes: Husband - Wilfred Cooke Lyle

He was a civil engineer employed by the government, at one time being on the Tennessee River.

A graduate of Washington and Jefferson College in 1902, he followed the profession of Civil Engineer until 1936. In the autumn of that year, he and his wife moved to Miami Beach, Florida, where they operated the Biscayne Bay private school; after his death she still operated the school.
