General Notes: Husband - Isaac Tallman


He was born in Franklin County, Pennsylvania, and came to Westmoreland County in 1816, purchasing lands near Youngstown, Unity township. He built a log house on this land in 1820 and moved into it when he was married (1822). There they lived the remainder of their days, Isaac being engaged in farming.

He lived near Youngstown, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania. He was first engaged in business as a distiller, but later became a farmer, owning an estate of one hundred and twelve acres.
He was a Whig and a member of the German Lutheran church.


General Notes: Wife - Mary Mears


She was the daughter of a revolutionary soldier, who was in the battle of Bunker Hill and afterward served through the war.
