General Notes: Husband - William Meanor

---

He was a successful and wealthy farmer, and was an elder in the Murrysville, Pennsylvania, Presbyterian church from 1856 until his death. He was a democrat until 1860, when he became a republican. He was a large man physically and very firm and decided in whatever he undertook. He was a liberal patron of the church, served as school di-rector of his township for several years, and was successful in the management of his business affairs.
He and his wife had three sons and three daughters.
