Anamosa, Jones Co, IA

He came by team from Courtland County, New York, to Anamosa, Iowa, arriving June 14, 1847. He served in Co. "E" 31st Iowa. He took a severe cold at the battle of Arkansas Post. It developed into pneu-monia, which caused his death.
