General Notes: Husband - John S. Witherow
In early life he was a miller, but became a tiller of the soil in the early 1880s, and about 1884 bought the R. Anderson farm of 136 acres, on which he had two fine gas wells, from which he secured a good income, and had his buildings heated and lighted. He was successful both as a miller and farmer. He was a member of the United Presbyterian church. Polit-ically he was a Democrat.
