General Notes: Husband - John Stahlman
He was a farmer of considerable means, owning, in addition to his agricultural properties, several gristmills, two of which were still in operation well into the twentieth century. During the Revolution, he served in the Militia Battalion of Lancaster, commanded by Colonel Alex Lowrey, his particular organization being Captain Arlhort's Company of the 5th Class.
Of his children, Solomon and three of the daughters remained in Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania, while the others moved into Clarion and Jefferson counties.
