General Notes: Husband - Jesse R. Williams
farmed in Venango County, Pennsylvania, for several years, then came to Mercer County. For many years he followed steamboating on the Allegheny river. He then returned to Mercer and operated a drug store for two years, and then conducted a hotel at Scrubgrass, Pennsylvania. He built the hotel and ran it for seven or eight years. He also operated a ferry-boat for a number of years, including one which he operated at Brandon sixteen years; also one at Franklin and other points. During the dark days of the Civil war, in 1862, he enlisted for six months in the Fifty-seventh Pennsylvania Regiment; was also in charge of the recruiting station at Oil City. He was discharged for disability in the autumn of 1862. He belonged to Major Mays Post, Grand Army of the Republic, of Franklin. Politically, he was a Democrat.

She died when about thirty years of age.
