General Notes: Husband - Hugh McCormick

He was born in Maryland, and when a boy came with his parents to what is now Moon township, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.

He and his brother James received their father's property at his death, Hugh becoming the owner of about 300 acres of land. He was unfortunate at the raising of a barn, where a falling timber drove his leg into the ground, fracturing his leg so that it never got entirely well, making him a cripple, a source of severe suffering to him for a period of about fifty years, till his death.

General Notes: Wife - Margaret Nichol

She inherited fifty acres of land as her part of a four-hundred-acre tract divided by her father, John Nichol, between his eight children.
