General Notes: Husband - Henry J. Myers
He came with his parents to Millerstown, Butler County, Pennsylvania, when six years of age and thereafter resided in that borough. He attended the public schools of Millerstown and subsequently spent two years at Capital University, Columbus, Ohio, where he pursued a thorough course of study. He afterwards accepted a position as teller in the German National Bank, of Millerstown, was promoted to cashier, and in 1885, upon the suspension of the bank, he was appointed liquidating officer by the National Bank Commission. In 1887 the Millerstown Deposit Bank was organized by Mr. Myers and his father, and he became cashier and had general supervision of that institution.
He was a prominent member of the Masonic order; was W. M. of Argyle Lodge, Number 540, F. & A. M.; was connected with Butler chapter, Number 273, R, A. M.; with Tancred Commandery, Number 48, K. T.; with Syria Temple, A. A. O. N. M. S., and Pennsylvania Consistory, S. P. R. S., in which he attained the 32d degree, the last three mentioned being in Pittsburgh. Politically, Mr. Myers was a Democrat, and aside from his banking interests, he was also interested in the oil industry.
