General Notes: Husband - John C. Moore
In 1883 he owned part of the David McJunkin farm in Butler County, Pennsylvania. He was a successful oil producer. He had, unaided, accumulated a competency, and was emphatically a self-made man, active, energetic and prosperous. For thirty-five years he followed the business of school teaching winters.
He had four daughters and a son by his second wife.
