General Notes: Husband - John McIntyre


He received his education in the common schools, and was early introduced to agricultural pursuits, becoming, when only twelve years of age, the assistant of his step-father, John Hays, in the labors of the farm.
He was a member of the A. O. of U. W., of Greensburg, Pennsylvania, and mine foreman, No. 3 mine, Greensburg Coal Company.
