General Notes: Husband - John Reed

---

He and his wife came from Ireland to America about 1755, then having one child that died on shipboard. They settled in Sherman's Valley, Pennsylvania, on a farm, reared a family of six children, four sons and two daughters, and in their old age sold their farm and moved to Lycoming County, PA, where both died.
