General Notes: Husband - William D. Tebay


In 1883 he was residing on the old family homestead in Muddy Creek township, Butler County, Pennsylvania, where the State Militia Company used to assemble the first Monday in May every year, until the militia law was repealed.

He followed farming and served in many township offices and as school director for many terms. He was well known throughout the county and was held in the highest esteem by all who knew him. His advice was sought on legal matters by his neighbors far and near.
