General Notes: Husband - Jacob Funk Wise
He was a native of Bucks County, Pennsylvania, and moved with his father to Beaver County. He married and settled in Jackson township, Butler County, where he cleared and improved a farm. He afterwards moved to the Ziegler farm, on Connoquenessing creek, and thence to Harmony. He was a member of the Mennonite church. In politics he was a Republican.
