Mifflin Twp, Allegheny Co, PA
He was born in Country Antrim, Ireland, and immigrated to America with his parents. He had to make his own way in the world, and became a successful farmer. He was a member of Mifflin U. P. Church, and of session; in politics, he was a democrat.
The family consisted of nine children-six girls, five of whom were living in 1889, and three boys.
