General Notes: Husband - Benjamin F. Morgan
His occupation was glass cutter. He served for twenty years as elder in the First Presbyterian church, South Side, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Civil War: On July 4, 1861, he volunteered in the 62d regiment of Pa. Volunteers, Col. Samuel Black, and was discharged August 8, 1864, having taken part in every battle in which his regiment was engaged.
He and his wife had six children; William F. Morgan was the eldest.
