General Notes: Husband - William McLaren Moore
He was educated in the township schools and in New Alexandria Academy. His early life was spent on the farm and for many years thereafter he followed that occupation. In 1890 he moved to New Alexandria and opened a meat market in partnership with his brother-in-law, Thomas Denholm, the firm being Denholm & Moore. This business was very successful. Mr. Moore affiliated with the Republican party, and served a term as councilman of the borough. He was a member of the Presbyterian church of New Alexandria.
