General Notes: Husband - Andrew Jackson Zahniser
In early manhood he learned the machinist's trade at Greenville, Pennsylvania, and after-wards opened a shop at Foxburg. From the latter place he moved to Washington, Pennsylvania, where he founded extensive shops. He invented a number of valuable mechanical appliances.
