General Notes: Husband - Samuel Scott


He served in the revolutionary war, entering the volunteer service as a minute-man. He took part in the battle of King's Mountain, North Carolina, as did his two brothers, William and Thomas. He and his wife moved to Kentucky in 1783 in company with Daniel Boone, making a perilous trip and encountering hostile bands of Indians.
He settled on Dick's River at Boone Station in Kentucky.

He was a soldier in the Revolutionary War, being only sixteen years old when he entered the service as a minute man in a volunteer company raised to go against Ferguson.
He went to Kentucky with Daniel Boone and his colony about 1786 and located at Boone's Station, where he resided seven or eight years.
