General Notes: Husband - Joseph McCord

His grandfather McCord went from Ireland to Scotland, and from thence emigrated to America, settling in Delaware. His son was with General Washington at Valley Forge. Joseph McCord, son of this Revolutionary soldier, came to Clarion County, Pennsylvania, as manager of some of the first ore furnaces there.
