General Notes: Husband - Rev. David Scott McComb


He went to Iowa with his bride and they worked as Home Missionaries, undergoing great privations, living on a salary of $300.00 a year, six miles from store and post office and forty miles from the nearest mill.
Mrs. Jane Richards McComb died, leaving a family of ten children, and after her death Rev. McComb brought the children to their friends in Armstrong County, Pennsylvania, and then returned to his field of labor.
