General Notes: Husband - Robert Shirley
He served as a soldier in the Revolutionary war. In 1792 he came to Indiana County, Pennsylvania, from the Conococheague valley, and located in Conemaugh township, on Black-legs creek, about two miles from Saltsburg. He became a farmer, and lived in that section until he was ninety-nine years of age.
