General Notes: Husband - John McClure
He came to America from the north of Ireland about 1715. He married and settled in what is now Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, taking up a large tract of land, on part of which the city of Carlisle was afterwards built. [MAC II, 141]
He and his wife were the parents of eight children.
