General Notes: Husband - Jacob Meyer

He moved in 1768 [from Lebanon County, Pennsylvania,] to a locality about half a mile west of the present site of Freeburg (then called Straubstown), Snyder County, Pennsylvania. He died when aged about seventy-five years, and lies buried in the old graveyard near Freeburg.

He moved from Muhlbach to Straubstown (now Freeburg), Pennsylvania, purchasing a large tract of land near the town; he devoted his time to farming and to keeping a tavern.

The descendants of this man are a multitude. A number of them are found in Centre and Clinton counties of Pennsylvania, but the majority of them settled in Ohio, Indiana, Illinois and other western states.
