General Notes: Husband - Samuel Moore

He came from Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, to Beaver County at an early day; was a boat builder by trade.

He was born at the mouth of Chartier's Creek, Pennsylvania. He was a member of the Masonic fraternity, and at the age of twenty-one years walked from Pittsburgh to Philadelphia in order to obtain his degree. He took an active part in the War of 1812.

General Notes: Wife - Hannah McCarrher

The year of her birth and that of her mother are given by the source - but it seems like a stretch.
