General Notes: Husband - John "Jack" McCandless


He and his wife resided in Butler County, PA, on a farm on the Butler-Franklin road, later known as the Wigton farm. This couple died within one week of each other in 1844, and they are buried in the upper cemetery at Muddy Creek Church.
