General Notes: Husband - Milow Twyford
He was identified with the Democratic party, and served as supervisor of Independence township [Beaver County, Pennsylvania]. He owned the farm of 115 acres where he lived, and another in Hopewell township. [HBC 1888, 904]
He had a very large farm of some one thousand acres in Independence Township, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, and here he finally died at a good old age.
For the long period of sixty years he was engaged in farming in Beaver County, Pennsylvania, owning one farm in Independence township, and another in Hopewell township. He was a staunch Democrat in political matters, and his religious allegiance was given to the United Presbyterian Church.
