Husband of Muriel Prindle Meehl, and father of Donald, Mrs. Phyllis Potter and Mrs. Sally Weaver, all of North East. Also survived by eleven grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Turner Funeral Home, 92 South Lake Street, North East, Pa. on Monday from 7 to 9 and on Tuesday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. and are invited to attend services Wednesday at 2 p.m. Interment in North East Cemetery.

Mrs. Muriel Meehl, 57, of 31 Poplar, North East, died Thursday at Hamot Medical Center. She was born in Sherman, NY, on June 10, 1916, the daughter of Mae Tressler Prindle of North East and the late Jess Prindle. She was the member of the First Baptist Church of North East. She was preceded in death by her husband, Nelson Meehl, who died in 1969. Survivors include her mother, Mrs. Mae Prindle, a son, Donald Meehl of North East; two daughters, Mrs. Hershel (Phyllis) Potter of North East; Mrs. Harry (Sally) Weaver of Harborcreek; two sisters, Mrs. Rufus (Margaret) Luebke of North East, and Mrs. Alex (Mildred) Dudink of North East; and 12 grandchildren. Friends may call at the Bowers Funeral Home, 92 S. Lake, North East, Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and are invited to attend funeral services there Saturday afternoon at 2 p.m. with Rev. Richard Mercer officiating. Burial will be in North East Cemetery.
