General Notes: Husband - Thompson F. McCabe
He was educated at the public schools and reared on the farm where he was born, and which he later owned. He took a deep interest in politics and, like his father before him, was a stanch democrat. He held many public offices and positions of trust, and was a member of the Presbyterian Church at Mansfield.
He was a school director for many years. He was also a charter member of the Carnegie Presbyterian church and afterwards one of its trustees.
