General Notes: Husband - David Tussey
He passed his boyhood days with his uncle, Hugh Bowers. When twenty-one years of age he migrated to Canoe Valley, Huntingdon County, Pennsylvania, where he worked at whatever he could get to do until his marriage. After his marriage he worked rented farms for a few years, by which means he got his start in life, and finally got a farm of his own. It was a part of his father-in-law's farm, and on it he lived until his death. He and his wife were both members of the Presbyterian Church for many years, and Mr. Tussey was most of the time one of the officers thereof. To them were born fifteen children, of whom ten grew to man's and woman's estate.
