General Notes: Husband - Joseph Graham

He was about three years old when his parents came to Butler County, Pennsylvania. His youth was passed amidst pioneer scenes, and he grew up inured to the hardships and privations of that period. After arriving at maturity he located on the farm later owned by H. Kirchner.
He was a soldier in the War of 1812, served as a major in the early militia, and officiated as a Commissioner of Butler County many years ago.
He was the father of thirteen children, eleven of whom survived in 1883.
