General Notes: Husband - David C. Wilson
He was born in Huntingdon County, Pennsylvania, but the greater portion of his life was spent in Bradford township, Clearfield County, where in his youth he assisted his father in clearing the home farm.
He married and they made their first home on the Buck farm, but in 1839 he bought the another homestead. It was then a tract of forest land, which years of industry transformed into a pleasant home.
He was a leader in local affairs and in the councils of the Democratic party, serving ably as supervisor and as a member of the school board. He was a consistent member of the United Brethren Church.
General Notes: Wife - Elizabeth Mayhew
She passed away ten days before her husband, each having been ill only four days.
