General Notes: Husband - Frederick Bair
He was born in Allegheny township, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, and reared on a farm in Burrell township. On reaching manhood he adopted agriculture as a life-work.
During the Civil war he served in the Sixth Regiment, Pennsylvania Heavy Artillery, and later became a member of Sardis Post, No. 243, G. A. R.
He was a staunch Republican, and a member and officer of the Methodist Episcopal church.
Soon after his second marriage he moved from Upper Burrell township to Allegheny township.
